Restoring Nature. Empowering Farmers. Inspiring Generations.

Building a Greener, Healthier and Self-Reliant India

Transforming Indian Agriculture, Protecting Nature, and Empowering Communities

“The greatest legacy we can leave is not wealth, but a healthier planet for future generations.”

India’s environmental future depends on the choices we make today. Healthy forests, fertile soil, clean water, thriving biodiversity, and prosperous farmers are the foundation of a resilient nation. For more than two decades, Rajeev Singh has devoted his life to protecting these foundations by combining environmental conservation, scientific agriculture, sustainable development, and community participation into a single national vision.

An environmental leader, agripreneur, water conservation advocate, and IIM alumnus, Rajeev Singh is the Founder of Sansar Green, Harit Sansar, Erwon Energy Pvt. Ltd., and the Sansar Institute of Agricultural Research & Training (SIART). Through these organisations, he is leading initiatives that restore ecosystems, improve agricultural productivity, revive water bodies, promote natural farming, and inspire millions of people to become active participants in building a greener India.

Unlike many entrepreneurs whose journeys begin in boardrooms, Rajeev Singh’s journey began in the field—working directly with landscapes, soil, water, and communities. This practical experience has shaped his belief that sustainable development must always begin with nature.

His mission is to inspire communities across Jharkhand and India to create a greener, healthier, and climate-resilient future.

A Journey Rooted in Nature

Rajeev Singh’s environmental journey started with landscape development, ecological restoration, and plantation projects across India. Over the years, he has planned, developed, and supported green infrastructure projects for government institutions, defence establishments, public sector organisations, universities, industrial campuses, urban parks, and educational institutions.

His contribution extends to projects associated with prestigious organisations including Rashtrapati Bhavan, Eco Park Patna, the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Indian Embassies, Central and State Universities, Smart Cities, municipal parks, government campuses, industrial townships, and corporate landscapes.

These projects represent more than landscape development—they demonstrate how thoughtful environmental planning can improve biodiversity, create healthier public spaces, and strengthen ecological resilience.

Through Sansar Green and the Harit Sansar movement, Rajeev Singh envisions an India where healthy ecosystems, sustainable agriculture, clean water, renewable energy, and empowered communities work together to create a greener, healthier, and climate-resilient nation by 2040.

Planting More Than Trees—Growing a Movement

One of Rajeev Singh’s most significant contributions has been his commitment to tree plantation and ecological restoration.

Over the past two decades, he has led and supported the plantation of more than 50 lakh (5 million) trees through institutional projects, landscape developments, community campaigns, and public participation initiatives.

However, Rajeev believes that planting trees alone is not enough. The real challenge is creating a culture where every citizen feels responsible for protecting the environment.

This philosophy inspired the creation of Harit Sansar, a nationwide environmental movement dedicated to transforming environmental conservation into a people’s movement.

Harit Sansar encourages individuals, schools, villages, institutions, corporate organisations, and local communities to participate in free plantation campaigns, community forests, environmental education, fruit orchard development, water conservation, and youth volunteer programmes.

Its guiding principle is simple yet powerful:

Every Citizen. Every Family. Every Village. Greener Together.

Today, Harit Sansar is working toward creating a culture where environmental responsibility becomes a way of life rather than an occasional campaign.

Through Sansar Green and Harit Sansar, he is helping create greener institutions, healthier cities, and resilient ecosystems for future generations.

Revolutionising Indian Agriculture Through “Mitti Se Mandi Tak”

Agriculture remains the backbone of India’s economy, yet millions of farmers continue to face challenges related to declining soil health, rising input costs, climate change, and limited market access.

To address these challenges, Rajeev Singh founded Sansar Green, an agritech company dedicated to creating an integrated agricultural ecosystem based on the philosophy of “Mitti Se Mandi Tak” (Soil to Market).

The model recognises that successful agriculture requires more than good seeds or fertilisers. It requires a complete ecosystem that connects every stage of the agricultural value chain.

The “Mitti Se Mandi Tak” framework integrates:

  • Soil health assessment
  • Scientific crop planning
  • Organic and biological inputs
  • Biofertilisers and microbial technologies
  • Precision agriculture
  • AI-enabled advisory services
  • Farmer education and capacity building
  • Value addition and processing
  • Branding and marketing
  • Market access and farmer entrepreneurship

By integrating science, technology, sustainability, and market connectivity, Sansar Green aims to increase farmer incomes while protecting natural resources and reducing environmental impact.

Restoring India’s Water Heritage

Water conservation is another pillar of Rajeev Singh’s environmental mission.

Through Erwon Energy Pvt. Ltd., he works to restore ponds, lakes, wetlands, rivers, and other degraded water ecosystems using ecological restoration and bioremediation

Rajeev Singh, Founder of Sansar Green and Harit Sansar, stands at the center of a futuristic green India featuring restored forests, clean rivers, smart villages, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity, and thriving communities, representing his Vision 2040 for an environmentally resilient and prosperous nation.
Rajeev Singh’s Vision 2040 is a long-term commitment to creating a greener, healthier, and climate-resilient India through Sansar Green and Harit Sansar. By combining environmental restoration, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, innovation, and community participation, the mission aims to leave a lasting legacy for future generations.

, and sustainable water management practices.

His work focuses on reviving traditional water bodies, improving groundwater recharge, strengthening biodiversity, and enhancing climate resilience in both rural and urban regions.

Rajeev believes that protecting India’s water resources is essential not only for agriculture but also for environmental security and the well-being of future generations.

Research, Innovation and Knowledge

Rajeev Singh strongly believes that sustainable development must be supported by scientific research and practical innovation.

To bridge the gap between research institutions and farmers, he established the Sansar Institute of Agricultural Research & Training (SIART).

SIART focuses on developing practical, research-driven solutions in:

  • Organic agriculture
  • Biofertilisers
  • Soil microbiology
  • Natural farming
  • Climate-smart agriculture
  • Sustainable crop management
  • Farmer training
  • Rural entrepreneurship
  • Technology transfer

The institute works to ensure that scientific innovations move beyond laboratories and create measurable impact in farmers’ fields.
